If your child has difficulty with handwriting, fine motor skills, gross motor skills, and/or sensory processing, we have the skills and tools to assess your child’s needs and will develop a plan to facilitate independence.
Ongoing consultation with parents, caregivers, and other professionals is provided to assist children with generalizing skills learned during therapy sessions, answer questions, discuss treatment plans, and review home programs.
Therapy services are provided by New York State licensed therapists with advanced training and/or certifications in pediatric therapy and sensory integration treatment/evaluation.
We utilize a variety of therapeutic equipment during treatment sessions to facilitate independence and promote skill acquisition. Evaluation for and training in the use of therapeutic equipment for carry-over at home and school is also performed. In addition, we work with insurance companies in pursuit of reimbursement for equipment for home programs. Equipment may include, but is not limited to, therapeutic swings, weighted blankets, and compression garments (vests, shirts, shorts, etc.).
